Lisbon-based artist, she graduated in Architecture after studying in Porto and Mendrisio with architects such as Eduardo Souto de Moura and Peter Zumthor. For over 13 years, Cristina worked independently as an architect. She also collaborated with both small and large-scale oFices, including Architecturestudio in Paris. Despite her training in architecture, she starts to explore the intersection between fine arts and architecture. In 2019, she received her Master's degree in Painting from the Fine Arts School in Lisbon. Her investigation led her to question the boundaries of the in-between spaces where various artistic disciplines intersect. Cristina blends drawing, painting, sculpture, music and architecture. She integrates materials and techniques beyond their traditional usage. Her work has been participating in solo and collective exhibitions in several galleries and museums in Portugal.
