Avelino Sá has been exhibiting at Galeria Fernando Santos since 2008 and this will be his fifth solo exhibition in this space.
Always guided by the presence of the word or reflection on it, the exhibition “O Hóspede da Casa do Infinito” takes its name, this time, from the poetry of Holderlin.
“The title also reports an essential relationship with the act of creation, which is, of course, the true condition of art, despite how much it can limit it.”
It is not, therefore, an ekphrastic relationship, but rather, “seek to understand, through the forms, gestures and matter typical of painting, how one can reconstitute a space and a time that, before, were given to be understood by poetry .”
